Buying one of Samsung's latest foldable phones in India now comes with a new ownership option.
Samsung has expanded its Galaxy Forever programme to the Galaxy Z Fold8 series, allowing eligible buyers to spread the cost across 24 no-cost EMIs while getting Samsung Care+ protection and an assured buyback option if they decide to return or upgrade the phone later.
According to Samsung India's official Galaxy Forever programme, customers can receive an assured buyback value of up to 55% of the original invoice value, depending on when the eligible device is returned. (Samsung ch)
How Galaxy Forever Works
Galaxy Forever is different from a conventional discount.
Instead of reducing the retail price of the Fold8, Samsung is trying to make the cost of owning and eventually upgrading a premium foldable more predictable.
Eligible customers can purchase the device using 24 no-cost EMIs. From the 10th month onward, they can return or upgrade the device under the programme and receive an assured percentage of its invoice value, subject to Samsung's terms and conditions. (Samsung ch)
Samsung currently lists the buyback structure as:

That distinction is important.
The headline “up to 55% assured buyback” doesn't mean buyers will automatically receive 55% after using the phone for two years. The maximum applies during the 10th–11th month window, while the guaranteed percentage gradually falls the longer the device is kept. (Samsung ch)
Samsung Care+ Makes More Sense on a Foldable
Galaxy Forever also includes Samsung Care+, adding another layer of protection to the ownership package.
That can be particularly relevant for a foldable phone, where repair costs and long-term durability are likely to matter more to buyers than on a conventional budget handset.

Galaxy Forever arrives shortly after Samsung began shipping its latest foldable generation in India.
