Update: this piece originally ran a few days ago. Since then, Google has officially confirmed the Pixel Glow feature and the "Pixel 11" name via a teaser video, and new leaks have added much more specific pricing, battery, and colour details — all reflected below.
Launch Window
Google has confirmed the Made by Google event for August 12, 2026, at 6 p.m. ET in New York — this part isn't a rumor, it's official, via press invitations sent to media outlets in early July. Google has also now confirmed the Pixel 11 name itself and that pre-orders open August 12, the day of the event, via a short teaser video quietly posted to the Google Store homepage. The regular Pixel 11, 11 Pro, and 11 Pro XL are expected to ship around August 20, going by last year's one-week gap between announcement and retail availability. The Pixel 11 Pro Fold is expected to be unveiled at the same event but ship separately in October, following the Pixel 10 Pro Fold's precedent of an October 9 release.
Tensor G6 – The Biggest Upgrade (Mostly)
The entire Pixel 11 lineup is expected to run on Google's new Tensor G6 chipset.
